01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Operating from 17:00 in the evening until 23:00 at night, Tokko is an izakaya tucked into Kyojima, Sumida Ward. Visitors often praise the quality and care put into the otoshi (table appetizer), making it an inviting place to settle in with a cold beer or other beverage. Because the menu focuses primarily on small plates, diners can easily assemble a selection of bites to suit whatever drink they have in hand.
With table service, the interior has an easygoing ambiance well suited to leisurely conversation over a drink. Seat reservations are accepted, and the izakaya operates nightly except on Wednesdays, when it is closed. Cash is the only accepted payment method, so it is advisable to bring enough yen beforehand.
